The Architecture Foundation is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly organised Marketing & Membership Coordinator to maximise audiences for our exhibitions and events; communicate the range of work the AF delivers; position the AF clearly, prominently and positively; and seek opportunities for the AF as an organisation to be represented both online and in print. The role will also encompass management of the AF’s membership scheme and contacts database.

- Assist the Office Manager, Development Manager and curatorial staff with online marketing (including news posts on AF website, Facebook, Twitter and the London Architecture Diary).
- Coordinate monthly e-shots to members and non-members promoting AF activities.
- Promote AF programme including events, exhibitions and competitions and the benefits of AF membership (via online and print listing services, blogs, universities contacts etc as appropriate).
- Establish relationships with key contacts within relevant universities’ departments (art, architecture and design) and student groups, in order to increase student membership.
- Create and manage a new press archiving system.
- Collect, scan and file press items.
- Assist journalists with press enquiries or refer them to the relevant project coordinator.
- Manage distribution of press packs (including press releases and images) and upload these to the AF website within the relevant project pages.
- Oversee the AF membership scheme: recruit new AF members and liaise with existing members; deal with membership admin and manage the members’ database.
- Attend and help with AF events and relevant external events as necessary.
- Coordinate distribution of quarterly printed bulletin.

 

Salary: £18k per annum, pro rata
